As I prepare to embark on my second annual tying marathon, I can't help but think about how important it is to give something back. This "giving" can be accomplished in many different ways but it really needs to happen for the continued growth of this sport of ours and the health and welfare of the places we like to fish. Donating can be as simple as giving materials to a youth tying class or as big as dropping a couple grand at a TU fundraising auction, but it is all important and it all will, in some way, have an impact. So as the spring rolls on (for some of us on this list) I encourage all of you keep that thought in the back of your mind and when the opportunity arises, act on it.
