You can make your own ( see http://www.globalflyfishers.com) dubbing article or order it from www.tightlines.co.uk.  If you make your own, all you need are the silk thread and two of those wire teeth kitty brushes that you get to brush cats with , available at the nearest K or Wal Mart.  Cut silk in small pieces, lay on one brush, run the other brush against it as though carding wool..presto..sillk dubbing.
