My son Joe and I are going to wade the North Bosque River for white bass
this afternoon. We'll be using Clousers and anything "flashy" with # 6
hooks, including some sinking largemouth bass flies that I tied up that
are plumb "gaudy". But, that's what white bass like. The cold snap has
put them on the run upriver again, so hopefully we'll be more successful
this weekend than last. Where we'll be wading is fast running water
with a series of pools, much like the trout streams I fish in NM, only
much wider and deeper. Will let everyone know tonight how the trip
went.
