Rene, According to Charlie Meck ( a prolific writer & fly fishing lecturer in the States) he has done studies on the stream that show more takes & more fish caught with fluor than with regular tippets. I have seen his charts and they are impressive. Probably for the wise fish that has seen everything thrown at it the fluor is more important. With fluor you can probably get by with 5-0 or 6-0 rather than 6-0 & 7-0 of regular tippet. Just a couple of thoughts. Tight Lines & Memories Joe
