Well, WF is great for distance casting. But for closer work, and for better roll casting in tight quarters a DT might help a good bit. DTs are also nice in the fact that they can be reversed for a "new" end. I am planning to buy a DT3F for my Redington 3/4 rod for small streams later this year. I currently have all WFs in my collection, but 20 years ago all my trout fishing on streams was on DTs and WFs were for steelheading and lake trout fishing. I think it will be quite valuable to have a nice quiet DT around for those sensitive times. :-) Rob -- Rob Blomquist Kirkland, WA
