Mike-

It involves using a flat plastic surface, like a
coffee can lid and putting a dab of paint on it (the
guy who sent in the tip says he uses acrylic paints, I
think Ginger uses fabric paints) so the paint makes a
circle (doesn't have to be perfect). After the paint
dries, you take some black paint and make a smaller
circle for the pupil of the eye. Once the paint's dry,
you can peel them off, apply them to your fly and put
a coat of epoxy or head cement on them to hold them in
place. Haven't tried it myself, but it looks like a
neat idea, inexpensive, too.
