Well, we're a bit further south from the area you are talking about, but here at the very south tip of the Appalachians, we're getting plenty of rain. As an indicator, Lake Sidney Lanier, which feeds upon the rainfall that falls on very north Georgia and North Carolina, is almost filled back up nicely. (It was down over 10-15 feet during the drought). That's a lot of water.
Incidently, it has rained for the last 4 days and I'm going stir crazy!
