If you have an Internet-enabled cellphone or PDA you can check if that big fish you have in the net is a state record or not. Go to http://hotspotfishing.com/fish.asp , enter the first letter or two of the fish name and state name. The current records for that type of fish in that state are listed. If you DO have wireless Internet device, I'd love to hear your feedback about this little application. You can try it out using any web browser too, but its pretty plain since handheld devices need simple, fast text data. I'm still adding some state saltwater records.
