Anybody have the chest pack from Cabelas? 29.99 can't go wrong, or can I?

John...

A handful of years ago I was in the same position as you...every time
I went fishing I ended the event with a crick in the neck from all
the unneeded extras I lugged around. I finally decided enough is too
much and made the transition to a chest pack. The brand is
unimportant...I won't mention that O***s name. It has room for all
the necessary accoutrements and a couple of fly boxes. I now use the
(brand proudly and unabashedly announced) FlyMate boxes,
feather-light, durable and floatable. I have a huge bag that I put in
the car which contains the stock boxes and refill the carry-ons
appropriately. Yeah...it's a bit of a pain in the planning stages,
but beats the pain in the neck. I've finally discovered that if you
don't have the exact fly that you want to use...another WILL work.

keep tyin'...byard
