Update of Saltwater Swap as of 5/1/02 The fifth batch of flies has arrived. These are from Ginger Allen, and are a another nice set of flies - saltwater muddlers this time. I'm half way through tying my set of flies and will be done sometime this weekend. I would also like to remiond everyone to e-mail me their pattern recipes/instructions.
We ended up with fourteen (14) tiers for the saltwater swap. Everyone should prrepare 13 flies to be sent to the address below for the swap. A reminder that the target species are redfish, speckled trout (spotted seatrout), weakfish, snook, stripers, blues, and flounder. Tying deadline is May 15. Recipes for the flies should be sent via e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Flies should be sent with a return envelope with postage to Mark Delaney 316 W. LaGrange St. Lake Charles, LA 70605 I will keep everyone who signs up informed of the progress of the swap. Until the deadline approaches, most of the updates will be sent directly and not posted to the vfb board. I am having orthopedic problems that are due to my diabetes and will have to make some doctor's appontments out of town (most likely in Houston about 2/12 hrs. away).
