Grover periodically stumps me as well. He is, by all appearances, a big fat Siamese cat (currently perched in my lap), but he is as protective of my son as a German Shepherd. He comes and gets us when my son is upset, and he puts up with ear tugging, whisker pulling, and general climbing on and squishing as well as any golden retriever or lab. He's part cat, part dog, and a heck of a good foot warmer.

Subject: Re: [VFB] Pet Hair Swap

I also received the pet swap flies today. Would the tyers please name the species of critter the hair came from.  I know two bears, one  a car the other a very large Airedale.  I think gizzy moto is a cat, Grover has me stumped. and i have no clue as to Big Muddys origin.
Some very original well tied flies.  Angus my Scottie still tucks his tail when he comes into my tying room.  He and miss Billie will be getting their Scottie trim for the spring and summer.  think I will have the groomer save me some fur.
Thanks Bart.

I just received the flies from the Pet Hair Swap, and wanted to thank all of the participants.  They all look terrific.  For those of you who might have thought we were nuts (myself included) let me just say, you would be very surprised by these (myself included) and I think these things are really going to catch fish ! Bart, we owe you a great big thanks for hosting.
