I made a stick bait, jerk bait pattern a couple of years ago. It didn't function as well as the original. It was tougher to make it move how you want it too. But it could have just been me....
Long shank bass hook (wide bend) 3-4" strip of white foam (I used the foam off of the disposable cervical collars on the EMS trucks) Wrap the foam so that you have a cigar or hot dog shaped stick, I had the hook coming out of the middle. I then covered the whole thing with some clear glitter gel. It floated well, I didn't like the action it had, maybe it needed to be heavier? Timbo
