Just recieved the Second issue of "ART OF ANGLING" in yesterday's mail.
To those on the list who do not know what this "publication" is, it is the
Most beautifully produced Flyfishing/Tying type Magazine out there, each
issue will set you back $10 dollars a pop, but with the stunning
Photography, Beautiful production & top line Quality papers & inks used to
put it all together it is worth every penny!!!! Also makes you wonder if
some of those other Publications that retail for $5 an issue are really
worth it.
Well anyway if you get your (well washed, very clean) hands on the
current #2 issue, you'll just have to flip to page 171 to see a full page,
beautiful color Photograph of our Man DON O's Awesome Hair streamers for
Billfish & Dorado!!!!!!! they are featured in an article by Micheal Martinek
Jr. (say Mr. classic eastern Streamer guy) on using fine sstrips of mylar to
produce Streamer wings in Saltwater & fresh.. The Article is titled "Instant
Baitfish & Electric Sushi"...the Article mentions Don O. & talks somewhat
about his Patterns...but doesn't refer to the Material as Awesome
Hair...calls it by the other brand names out there...Whatever, it's great to
see Don O's Quality Work being Show Cased....
Everyone, get out there & buy a Copy...but avoid drooling allover the
issue as You check out the top notch production with the Beautiful
Photos....a Must have Magazine!!!!!
