Let's see, 13 flies, then at least 5 photos,(maybe more), of each step in tying the fly. We're talking probably 30 minutes per fly to tie, stop - photo, stop - photo, stop - photo, etc. and print pattern and tying instructions. 30X13 = 390 minutes minimum divided by 60 minutes/ hour = 6 1/2 hours. Could be a lot longer with some of us slow tyers.
You might be better served by selecting a number of flies from flyfishing webpages and downloading the photos of the steps and completed fly + the tying instructions.
My observation,
Cheers,
JIMMY

Subject: Re: [VFB] Swap
My idea was a standard swap one fly for each participant plus the pics and instructions. The fly's would go back to the participants in the normal fashion and the pics and instructions would be used for the 4-H workshops and web page. I will participate and use my set of the fly's as display for the workshops. I would like to close the swap on June 15th and due date of the 31st.
lemme get this strait --you only want pictures of the tying of one fly,you dont actually want the fly, you only want the pictures.
at least its quick-1 fly no post-----if thats correct i'm in ---- how soon
iain
