I need a little help in finding which is the correct animal for fitch fur used in tying. Is it 1. the american skunk? listed as polecat or fitch or 2. The european weasel? a ferret also called fitch I have acquired some old tying materials and there are several packages with the name fitch on them. the patches of fur are quite small 1X1inch. colors are medium brown and white. Anyone know what I have?
