26 " bass, huh!  By my conversion formula, that translates into at least 9 1/2 pounds.  Tell me the girth and I can give you the poundage even closer. "old chunking and winding formula".

Had a great lunch at the lake today.
 
Caught a 26 inch bass on my 4th cast.  Three casts later I had a 22 inch channel cat.
 
Both on a chartuse cyperts Minnow.
 
Caught some gills and crappie also.
