Salties and Pikesters, and maybe bassers, Just got through with my first set of new design roosterfish poppers and Byard agreed to post a photo. Roosters like a lot of surface commotion and movement, so I hope these do the trick. For those who are not familiar with roosterfish, I believe they are a member of the jack family, but have top dorsal fins like a lionfish and vivid black curved bars on the sides. They are tremendous fighters even on heavy tackle, so a fly rod is a real test of wills even with a small one.
