Happy dad
Hey ladies and gents,
Me
and my dad got up at an unheard of time of 4:30, went out to a lake we rarely
get to go to. Was fine for the first 1&1/2 hrs, then got real windy.
Decided to call it quits at 11:30, went to a tavern and got some
lunch. Headed home. After that we decided we were gonna go to the
river later on. (sorry, no flyrods at the ribber) We went to a creek we had
seen a few years ago, BEAUTIFUL, crystal clear and cold. Both me and my
dad brought flyrods, caught ALOT of green sunfish ( we just call em'
yellowfins ) Caught the elusive PUMPKINSEED SUNFISH, DUMDUMDUM! Caught a
few chubs also. We ended up keeping about 20 3-7" yellowfins, the one
pumpkinseed, and the chubs. Headed to the river, me and my dad each
caught 11" channel cats on nightcrawlers. That was the end of our day of
fishing. The pumpkinseed and a couple green sunfish are now happily part
of my fishy family.
