I use 30lb. backing direct to the flyline, which was a SA distance taper floating line. Caught lots of fish. No problems with the rigging. Hope this helps. Dreaming of Bonefish in Montana, Pat Eller For the salties: Or, just a bonefish taper tied directly to the backing? I've seen both recommendations in print. Floating or sinking flyline? Thanks Doug What Doug said. HIGHLY recommend SA Bonefish Line. In the heat it is great. Kinks a tad, but once stretched--- it shoots as well as any line I have ever used. AST coating, slick finish and stiff core. I also use 30lb backing. Jerry Goldsmith Altamonte Springs, Fl [EMAIL PROTECTED]
