As for myself, never, congratulations my friend, sounded like a great day on
the water.

Have any of you had a day where you caught a fish on EVERY cast!?!?!? I
didn't, until today.
It started like any trip to the water. Load the truck with my gear; fly
rod vest, drink, spare cigarettes, ect...
I got to the lake around 6:00 and decided to fish the dock for brim.
Now
granted, brim will hit almost anything, that's what makes them fun.
I tied on an EHC, green body. Why? I'm not sure. the first cast an a
nice brim rolled it. I missed the fish so decided to go ahead and strip it
in
wet style. FISH ON!!!
It wasn't the biggest brim, but it was a scrapper. Just out of pure
curiosity, I did the wet strip on my next cast. FISH ON!!! I couldn't
believe
it! was it just luck? Did the fishing Gods feel pity for such an unorthodox
use of a dry? I don't know.
Each cast, each wet strip, a fish. I even had a bass (about 8 inches of
it) follow and take it a mere few feet from me!
I had to quit at 7:00, lost the EHC. I decided that I had terrorized
the
brim around the docks enough for one day.
You can bet your waders though that I'll be tying up some weighted
EHC's
and will be at it again soon!
