trout in rivers = 4wt, wf line, parachute adams
trout in lakes = 5wt, intermediate sinking line, wooly bugger, tied black
with green-dyed grizzly hackle, sparse (like 3-4 palmered wraps max)
steelhead = 8wt, wf line, orange spider

I know that's three setups. Hope I'm not cheating, but if I had to choose
only one for each situation, that's what I would choose.

telling what they used. My question is, What's your favorite setup? One rod,
one line, one fly.
