Thanks Iain it took along time & for that I apologize. I am glad to see that you signed up for the second & my salmon swap. A little hint the great lakes salmon & steelhead are more like trout on what they hit in the rivers. The traditional flys work but dead drifting nymphs seems to be the best method.
