Hello list, My dear spouse scored a Bronson "Royalist" (appears to be a knockoff of a Pflueger) and an old silk line. The line cleaned up very nicely and will see use on a few cane rods I own. My questions are: 1) knowing this line will have to be dried and cleaned more frequently, is a loop to loop system in the butt section / backing an option that anyone has used for complete removal of the line? 2) the best way to make a loop in the tip for attaching leaders with the handshake (loop to loop) knot?
