Hello to all, me and my dad just got back from the lake....what an outing! The last couple times we have been to the lake my dad has gotten some bites from a few carp, but with the 2lb leader the line was broke. So I made up a big ole batch of the same flies as before and we went out in the boat. At first I stayed on the bank and played with my bluegill until I heard my dad yell "GOT ONE!" Eventually he came over and we both went out to the same place as before. He let have first cast and WHAMO! I had a 3-4lb carp. After that I caught another...my dad did not. So we went to try under a different mulberry tree. I caught two more there, my dad didnt catch anymore. And after that neither did I. It was a blast with 2 carp going over 7lbs.
