Hi John,

If it is hot out hoppers do really well in the meadows. Where are you
planning on stopping? The Lamar & Slough creek are two of my favorite spots
in the north east part of the park. The firehole can be great but it can
also skunk you. One of my favorite small creeks is "Middle" on the east
side. Brookies mostly but some really nice cutts come up from the shoshone.
I'm going over at the end of the week myself... some of the flies I got from
you will be put to good use. Contact me off list John...

Bill

Subject: [VFB] Yellowstone in August

Hi all,

Looks like I'll be in Yellowstone from Aug. 5 to Aug. 10. If anyone has any
hints, tips, or suggestions, I would greatly apprciate it. I'm planning now
so I can take the correct flies an such.

Tight Lines

John
