When you get to the reservoir you will see a large rock pile on the opposite
side of the resovoir looking out from the main road. We caught most of the
fish in the vicinity of this pile of rocks. I had a fish finder and noticed
that there is a steep drop-off in that area, with the maximum depth around 25
feet. Most of the fish are holding at 19-22 feet. We were using fast
sinking line and fishing right off the bottom. During the last hour the fish
move into the shallows and dry fly fishing is fast (or so I was told) I
would probably use a Griffiths gnat or a Renegade. I didn't see any
Mayflies, but supposedly there is a Callibaetis hatch in the mornings, and a
spinner fall at night.

Let me know how things go.

<<Glad to hear about the good report. I'm heading there this evening for
fishing tonight and tomorrow!!! But Kolob has been great every time I've
been there. Unfortunately it is about a 4 hour drive, so I can't go all
that often. On the other hand, it's remoteness helps dampen some of the
pressure.>>
