After hearing all the stories about the Frankenfish, (I live not too far
away from Crofton, MD) a buddy of mine and I went fishing yesterday, in a
couple of our local ponds for blue gill, crappie, LM bass, and whatever
else might happen to take a shine to our little foam critters. My buddy
hauled in a somewhat small fish, and called me over to look at it. Had the
blue spot on it's gill plate, and the colorings were mostly that of a blue
gill, but had the mouth of a LM bass, and the fin configuration of a LM
bass. Talked to another buddy of mine, him not seeing the fish, he thought
it might be something called a Goggle Eye. Anyone else ever seen a fish
like this?
