I'm glad they arrived, if they hadn't I was gona call on Don and Jimmy to
hunt down the thief and boil him, ( or her to be Politically Correct), in a
mixture of Carp and Skunk oil. Good to hear my friend.

The mail will go through!
Great Day! The best ever Caddis swap has arrived! Delivered by a Kevin
Costner look alike. Post marked May 20/02 and unopened by "Big Brother,"
completely intact. Thanks Byard!

The Royal Mail did it again. The Walleye swap arrived too! It looks like the
horse stepped on the package but fortunately no harm done to the Walleye
slayers inside. Posted June 8/02. Thanks Jimi!

What a fine, fine bunch of fly tiers. I send you all my ephemeral Thank You.
Ephemeral because I can only say it once here and know it's a poor way to
express gratitude. The exchange of these flies/ideas will stay in my pattern
library for consultation whenever a pattern reference is required.

Special appreciation to those who offered another effort to fulfill the swap
for me, and especially to these honourable fly fishers: Mr. Jack C. Rogers
of Columbia Falls, MO. and Mr. Dave Wilson of Santa Maria, CA. who did give
and sent another fly. Posted on the 19th and 20th of June. Got 'em all
today, go figure.

After about eight years of hanging around lurking fly-fishing lists on the
web, I understand the feeling of community. Without wanting to sound trite,
actions like theirs and of course the Swapmeisters are what makes it an
extended Family. If I could get your bellies up to the bar I'd buy ya all
one. You're part of the sweet melody I'm addicted to.

Calm days eh
wally
