WELL DONE,
40 years is something special, I'll get back to you in 28 and tell you if we
managed the same. (& I would love to be 200 pounds)

Good Morning, Fly Fishing Friends,

This post doesn't have much to do with fishing, directly, but indirectly it
has a lot to do with how much I fish and where I go fishing. Tomorrow is my
and Jody's 40th wedding anniversary. I offered to give up three things when
we got married, 1. - fishing - she said NO, she liked to fish! 2. Golf - she
said No, she liked Golf. 3. Smoking-she said yes, please! so I quit "cold
turkey" after having smoked 2 packs a day for about 5 years. Stay with me
now. I quit at midnight on Friday 13th and have never had another cigarette
- period! Of course, I can't say that about the milkshakes I drank over the
next 6 months. Had the darndest appetite after quiting smoking! Went from
157 # to 228 #, and have rarely dropped under 200 since (198 now). I
figured that I'd be doomed if I started back smoking, especially since I
quit at the bewitching hour of Friday the 13th ;~)

Cheers Ya'll. Have A Great Day!

P.S. Ankle is much better with new plastic brace and arch support!
