Sometimes I'm just so proud to be a Washingtonian. *sigh*
Where oh where do these people come from and why won't they go back? These are not responsible stewards of the environment, these are hateful, evil people. They are every bit the hate groups that the Nazi's and skinheads and Klansmen are. Their cause is to destroy those that truly love the environment and want it preserved. Management of natural resources is absolutely vital, and they will have none of that. Instead, they send ridiculous demands like this. While this seems harmless, even comical, the animal rights activists also riot, loot and destroy innocent businesses during the course of their "demonstrations". They vandalize research facilities that are working towards cures for some of the diseases that plague humanity. Why do we differentiate between these people and the Timothy McVeighs of the world? Is it only because they have yet to figure out how to make a bomb?
