Jimmy,
Done and on the prayer chain.
Jimi, Theresa and Lakewood Baptist Church.
My daughter, Joanna came thru her histeroctomy very well, but there were
other, complications immediately afterward. Seems the anesthesiologist
did a sorry job of inserting the tube down her throat when he bent her
head/neck back to insert the breathing tube. Now her left arm is
completely numb and her right arm swelled because of the IV backing up
in it. She's had a CAT, MRI and EMT, (tomography) and was told that
she has a disc in her neck that was pushed out of place by the
incorrect insertion of the tube and bending back of her head and neck.
They told her that another fraction of an inch would have made her
quadraplegic. Her surgeon, anesthesioligist and all are very
sympathetic, but has offered to pay for their mistakes. To me, it is a
"very clear cut" case of malpractice. So, unless the offending parties
pay for the extra stuff as requested by her lawyer, they'll indeed be sued!
I just want my daughter to get well. Any prayers will be sincerely
appreciated.
JIMMY
