Update for all the group (I think I messed up before). Mark is having his leg amputated below the knee tomorrow. The doctors are able to keep the infection in check but not get rid of it. After talking to his doctors and talking it over with me, we decided that this would be the best course of action. We are worried that if he gets sick again from this that he might not make it. If you would like to know what a charcot foot looks like, let me know and I will send a picture to you.
