Give our best to Mark, our prayers as well as those of others are with you
Mark and Bridgett. Hopefully we will hear soon that he will get to go home.
Just remember there are a lot of folks pulling for you all.
Jimi, Theresa, Amanda and a whole bunch of others.

Mark went in this morning about 6:50. The surgery was done at 10:30. He
said that Mark's leg was worse than they had thought. The calf was infected
and filled with pus. He lost a lot of blood. The doctor had wanted to put
on a temporary prothesis right away but the site had to be left open for
more drainage so there will have to be another surgery to close the site.
He wants to do hyperbaric oxygen treatment to help heal. Mark was alert
after the surgery and I was able to talk to him. He said that the decision
to amputate was definitely the right one. Mark has been moved to Room
3137. Thank you for keeping us all in your thoughts and prayers.

Valerie
