Folks....
I broke my back up rod the weekend of the 4th of July while at the
Willowemoc Creek (near the Beaverkill)... I was leaving the cabin to head
down to the water for the first casts of the trip, and I snapped the tip
off in the new spring loaded back porch door. Ping! was all I heard. 5
inches, gone. (Glad I didn't take my Silver Label) This was a Clearwater
865 (around $125.00) 8',6" for 5 weight....THANK GOD My Silver label 804 is
for smaller waters...
Anyway...I sent it back, (7.00 shipping to Vermont, and received it back
today...(10 days later) actually they replaced the whole rod!!!!!!, No
return shipping costs! Wow, can't beat that service, huh?
