Dean: If you think California steelhead can fight, you
have apparently never hooked a WASHINGTON steelhead!
LOL! Just kidding.
Sounds like a great trip!

Hello
all. This is Chris Broomell at my new email address. I will only be at
the old one for 3 more days. We are going to be moving south to Santa
Barbara to start school in a few weeks....so we're having to change
lot's of contact info.
I just got back from 2 great weeks in
Montana. I was able to get some fishing in on 5 good rivers and one good
pond.
Here's what I can say about the experience...things that I
found to be true:
--Montana trout fight harder than California trout
(at least the small ones)...my apologies to my fellow Californians...but
I have to call it like I see it. If anyone in Cali knows of some good
fighting trout...call me up and let's go fishing...make me eat my words
(or at least release them)
--ther are some places in Montana where
you should never mention that you're from California...
--Dean
Larson is just about one of the nicest people that I have ever had the
pleasure of meeting and fishing with. I'd give everyone the specifics
but then Dean would be innundated with visitors. Seriously,
though...such a nice and generous man...he even gave me my flyrod back
when I left it in his truck...
Had a good time...lot's of fish.
Got to float two rivers and wade a few others.
Best to
everyone. Chris
