Sea trout are brown trout that went to sea as smolts, grew up, and returned
to breed in rivers. Usually staying near the river mouths and usually
returning to their river of birth. They are still genetically brown trout
and will mate with river brown trout. sea trout taste superior.

Hi List,
I am just going to take advantage of the vast knowledge here in this list
and ask a question that has been on my mind ever since I saw a picture of
what was said to be a see run brown trout. If anyone could give me the who,
what, when, where and how on this it would be great. I am assuming they are
mostly in Europe or South America but then again I have no idea what I'm
talking about. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
        Sincerely,
               Shay
