Howdy folks...
I think the VFB Chat Room could use a helping hand. When going into the room, more often than not, there ain't nobody there. When there is someone to chat with and you hang in for a while others usually show up and join the fun. So...I think the solution lies in having someone always there during peak time periods. My proposal is to ask for your help in manning the chat room. If any of you are interested in committing to one or more two-hour sessions each week to sign on as a host and greet anyone who shows up please contact me. My thoughts as to primary times for the sessions are (all EST) 7-9, 9-11, 11-1...that equates to 21 separate sessions each week. I could post a schedule on the website so that all would know when the chat room would be manned and all hosts could even have a particular topic if they would like. ie...Saltwater...Warmwater...Trout...Tying...Rod Building etc. If we have success and enjoy a good following, we might even consider having guest hosts to discuss specific topics.
