Now that Byard has conned me into hosting in the Chat Room, bribed me really with a bunch of Copper Johns for my New Mexico trip next week, I'm going to be your "gracious host" in the Chat Room this coming Monday nite from 9-11 CST, then when I return from NM , I'll host on the 11th and 12th, same time frame. Byard is on from 7-9 this Monday to host a discussion on Fly Tying. I'll be leading a discussion on do fish really enjoy SEX. :-D Or we could discuss Salmo Herculatis, versus Salmo Teenyweenius as to their relative fighting ability on a 18 wt telephone pole vs an Austin Forbes 30" fly rod.
So far, Byard and I are the only ones on board to "host" . Any more volunteers out there? I was on for nearly 3 hours last night with Gober, Lunker, JoeL, Ridderbos and Troutman. Believe it or not only one of us got "out of line" and that was JoeL. Well, the Kid didn't know any better, so all us old guys just let it slide. ;-)
We discussed rod building, rod weight, BBQ, beer, etc. etc. etc. Did you know that dousing your dry fly in beer will attract larger trout? It was great to see so many drop by last nite. A great way to unwind from the day's stress.
