Hi Steven,

I forgot to mention that I use a 11wt for this fishing. The rod was a bargain, I was looking for 9wt double handed rod - but they had it only as a 11 wt.

With this setup I have no problems to cast two heavy streamer and to get a fair good distance.
Regards
Rene

Betreff: Re: [VFB] Double Streamer Fishing

Hi Rene,
I've used a Bugger-type streamer with a trailing Beadhead Prince Nymph in stillwater conditions with a slow, erratic retrieve. Most of the hits are on the nymph. Haven't tried two streamers. Generally, they're so heavy that I'd think there would be problems casting two of them in stream situations. Lately, we've been midging with three midges and an indicator. The midges, size 16-20, haven't been any problem in casting.
