I liked all of the flies in the swap.  Are you saying I like ugly flies ?????   Might be. I find that flies usually work better after they are beat up a little.  So much that on good days I might use every fly of a pattern I have in my box just so it is beat up a little.   Not sure why it works but it seems to.  Maybe because I have more confidence in the fly.   Rick
