Just though I would put my 2 cents in about smell, I'm not a great fiy fisherman but I have knowen 3 guys that were really good at it. All 3 smoked cigaretts and either cigares or a pipe while fishing I never though about it till about a month ago when I learned just how good a trout can smell but appearently the trout dont seem to mind or these's guys were that good they could get the trout to take their flys reguardless what they smelled like
