does any body on the list know how to skin a grouse for fly tying purposes? also what feathers are generaly used on a grouse or partridge. should i keep the breast feathers, back feathers, are the rump feathers the coice part?im not sure what part of the bird is most desirable for flytying purposes,so if anyone has a thought concerning this matter i would appreciate it. Also to preserve the skin, is thorough scraping, salting and drying all i need to do? thanks in advance brad robinson
