Thanks Don.  I think I will just wash them.  I am getting flak from the wife that the materials are taking over the house.  I don't know what she is crying about after all she ties most of her own flys.  must be time to make a new quilt.

Or else take it to the dry cleaner. 
(I just sink-washed a silver pheasant skin and it came out fine.)

Hi I just received some dried genetic rooster pelts, minus the necks.  Does any one know how to remove the blood that is on the feathers without have to resort to a complete rehydration & soaking of the pelts?  One of them is a real nice dark cree.
