Hello Joyce, your enquiry makes me think back on the first ischaemic
attack. It was so sneaky, just left the boat and was walking up a gentle
slope to my car, when I got this sort of pain in the jaw then my chest went
tight.When I got in the car I got O.K.
That was in august2001.On Christmas morning I had it again. this time I went
down and out.I came to in re-sus and my heart was doing 138 pm,syst was 200
and dia was 102.They cardioverted me for the first time of three, not
electricaly,by Injection. I felt
I was freefalling without air, then IT was over.Third time I had gone to bed
after a big supper,at about three o'clock I woke up with two sumo wrestlers
on my chest, heart rate way up and a terrible pain in my right arm,jaw and
chest.I got out of bed and just remember calling my wife, and I was gone.Iwas
out cold for two days falling and coming back upto bright lights. The doc
told me
I had an enlarged left ventricle.and that they had done a little surgery on
me .They sure had ,I looked like a stitched up salmon .I had another one
this March, not such a big deal, cause Im not so scared now. Well you did
ask.God Bless
