Hey Don,

It's a real find because, A) it is out of print and B) it is a great
reference that pulls together much of the work of past masters such as
Kelson, Pryce-Tannatt, et al and lays it out in one volume.

No tying instruction, and not what I would call perfect display flies
(they're very good, though, and Frodin tied them all),  but a great
history of a good many salmon flies.  I particularly like the way he
discusses the variation of particular patterns, sometimes citing 3 or
more recipes.  It's a great reference for the salmon tyer.
