For this swap
the definition of emerger will be any fly that does not float on top of the
surface film(like a traditional dry fly) and is not made to sink to the
bottom. These flies are ones that are tied to be suspended in the water or
IN the surface film.
Just can't do it. My emergers all begin on the surface greased and are allowed to go below as they get soaked. Sorry, but it works for me. Sweeng, and a hit!
