[VFB] Tandem Flies

Hey List,
I recently(as in last night) saw in a book on how to tie tandem flies. I have seen these flies before, and always wanted to tie one. The book showed me how, and it turns out it wasnt as hard as it seems. I've tied 2 different patterns and they look really good. My Questoin(s) is this. What do you guys use these flies for? I dont think that my size 2 front hook will look very good in the local brook trout stream around here. And is anyone interested in swapping flies? maybe not a big time swap, unless there is some interest.
