Pheasant tail is the traditional material called for
in the halfback and fullback patterns.

This is not to say, however that the rumpback is used
in some other similar pattern but to maintain a degree
of seperation and avoid confusion, we ought to call
those patterns the tailback and quarterback...and
since we're at it someone ought to design a decent
wide receiver, tight end and a complete defensive
line. If you do design a complete and (even partially)
functional defense, please contact Mike Holmgren at
the Seattle Seahawks. They really need your help.
