With the Announcement weds. for the Closures in the Channel Islands area of Southern California to all forms of Fishing, even Catch & release practices...I have decided to take a more active role in protecting my Rights to Fish. Which seem to be getting attacked from a number of different groups out there.
While I agree that protection of select areas & Species is certainly needed, I don't think that closing out all fishers from at least enjoying some Catch & release or Lowered Bag Kills is the way to do it, We Anglers(& Hunters for that matter) are more in tuned with how to manage wildlife then most of those so-called "Environmental Extremist Groups" out there.
Go to this Site "FREEDOM TO FISH" & send an Email to your government Representive & tell them how you feel about these activites & Extremist Groups. There are actually form Letters you can basically sign & Email off to the Persons who represent you...
I ASK THAT ALL AMERICAN MEMBERS OF THIS LIST DO THIS SIMPLE TASK. EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, THERE IS A CHANCE THAT OTHER STATES WILL FOLLOW SUIT..... WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER...
