John, I was on their tier's list for a couple of years and really liked their hooks. BUT, they were saltwater size 6 to 4/0. I really liked the gap and angle. VERY effective at hooking fish.
I touched up the points out of habit and 'cause I would mash the hook. Truthfully, they did not need it. Cannot comment on the small sizes, but imagine the quality was the same. I was at the local shop yesterday and was given a sample pack of 5 hooks, size 14 dry. They look pretty nice, real light fine wire, Limerick bend, with a down eye at just a slight angle and a wide gape, real sharp point. I tested one to destruction (heck, they were free) and it deformed quite a bit before I could break it by wiggling it back and forth. Just curious if anyone uses them and what their experiences have been. Thanks. -John Oregon ===== The River- You passers-by, who share my journey, You move and change,I move and am the same; You move and are gone, I move and remain. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
